First Model Shoot

I've got the chance to have a model shoot from our group in IntoPhotography. I really don't like the lighting condition that time. It's very dusky and I don't have an external flash. Good thing that there's a good guy who lend me his flash unit as well as his wireless transmitter. It's my first time to use one though but I really love the result together with my f/1.4 50mm prime.

Of all the shots I've taken and stored in my 1GB flash card, I only got 5 decent shots. Quite frustrating, but the experience I've gained is great. Need to practice more.

Lesson Of The Day: Don't Argue. Just Ignore

Specially if the receiving person just doesn't want to hear your explanation (pretending to be deaf or simply doesn't understand what you were saying even if it's already said in its most simplest form). It doesn't matter how many times you said it and will only result to a repetitive and heated argument. Those simple words won't register in their head anyway (at least for the time being).

Overclocking Mio

Here is my CPU-Z link wherein Mio reached a stable OC speed @ 3.02 Ghz using stock voltage of 1.3V using air cooling. Below are some settings:

HT Ref Clock: 233
CPU Multiplier: 13x
HT Multiplier: 5x (1Ghz)
FSB-DRAM Ratio: 1:1

I've tried running a torture test using Prime95. So far it's stable from post up to running resource intensive games. It became unstable when I've tried to pushed the Ref clock a little higher @ 234 without lowering the HT multiplier. My concern right now is that the CPU temp is reaching 60C at full load which is quite not advisable. I'll try to reseat the HSF when I got a spare time.

Completed Building My New Rig: Mio

Just finished setting up my Dragon platform. So far so good. Decided to name her Mio taken from the anime K-On!
